A day with a reporter

Sangeeta is a "firebrand reporter" of the largest Hindi Daily in the country. She is based in Rajasthan and has been a newshound for the last 12 years.

She started out as a crime reporter much like a course mate of mine who passed out from the IIMC- Sunetra Chaudhry of the NDTV fame-and joined the Indian Express for sometime.

Once, eager to contribute articles to some of the English newspapers, I checked the Yellow Pages of the city and came across her name in one of the pages.

I mustered enough courage and called her up and we became friends from then. She is married and has a daughter and her husband is a successful adman in his own right though maybe not as famous as Prahlad Kakkar.

She shared some of her experiences and also committed to introduce me to certain journo friends of hers. She, remarkable as a good Indian host, offered me a cuppa coffee which I have to admit was one of the best coffee I had in this city.

The rest of the conversation, however is censored. You may use your imagination to learn what could occur when two self confident, attractive and successful people meet?

Iam much too disinclined to let you all in on what transpired......
